Cecilia Cervantes, M.D.

Cecelia Cervantes, M.D., specializes in Internal Medicine and has been in practice since 1989. She received her Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (SUNY). Dr. Cervantes earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from City University of New York (CUNY) where she graduated Cum Laude.

Recently, Dr. Cervantes purchased the Austin Wound and Lymphedema Center. The center treats patients of all ages with wounds and lymphedema that may occur during the treatment of cancer, cardiovascular disease, orthopedic surgery, pregnancy, peripheral vascular disease, diabetes and other related illnesses. She also treats patients for all types of day-to-day family healthcare issues. Both Dr. Cervantes and her office staff are bi-lingual, and speak both English and Spanish.

Dr. Cervantes' volunteer involvement includes the American Heart Association and the Breast Cancer Resource Center. She has also been involved with the Make A Wish Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House. She is a licensed pilot, and her hobbies include amateur astronomy, needlework and sewing. She is also a science fiction buff. She has four dogs and cats named Ellie Mae, Pinky, Orion and Munchie.
