Treatment

A multifaceted treatment program, combined decongestive therapy (CDT), is recognized as the most effective and least invasive approach to lymphedema and chronic swelling. CDT is a combination of techniques: manual lymph drainage, compressive bandaging, compression garments, pumps and physical therapy. The essential aspect of CDT is the clinical staff. Each member of our health care team is committed to providing the therapeutic and emotional support necessary to cope with lymphedema and chronic swelling. The professional staff includes: Physician, Certified MLD Therapists, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, and Educators.
